Takes a LONG time (roughly 40 minutes) to heat up! Once heated, works well. It does the job but it just takes a very long time compared to the ones in the States.

The Therma Moist Petite Heating Pad heats up quickly and does get extremely hot on the highest setting of 150 degrees. You can set the timer from, 15 up to 60 minutes. It has a fairly long cord, and the heat does have a moist feel. I find that this petite size is perfect for knees, as it is narrow enough to fit and easy to adjust with the velcro tab. The only drawback I find with this heating pad is the fact you have to reset it to zero the next time you want to use it. You then have to set your preferences again. This is not a big deal, however, and is only a matter of inconvenience. The pad works great and does what it's supposed to do.

i have this pad and for the most part, i like it. one problem with it is that its a little too thick for me. But thats only because i have a broken back and have had rods attached to my spine and they are slightly curved forward instead of being arched. So , i need my back to be cradled and this does the opposite. But i do have an older one which does not have the safety shut off switch and gets WAY too hot. Ive been seriously burned by it and appreciate this pads feature. Also the massager is just a vibrater but it helps to get the blood flowing, which is what its designed to do. Its not going to give you a deep tissue massage. I think the settings are good. One is low and one is high. if it were any stronger your whole body would be vibrating. i paid $35.00 plus tax which is the only other thing i didnt like about it. it should be cheaper. $25.00 including s and h is a decsent price. And its warranted for two years!

I got this to travel with, as it fits in a carry-on suitcase better than my old trusty Thermaphore moist heating pad with a deadman's switch. This one has a timed switch and temperature control which, in principle may be a bit safer and adjustable than the deadman's switch (which is either on or off, and has to be held in the ON position to keep ON). However, the control is not all that intuitive for startup, as one has to set the heat to zero before re-starting. Once you get used to it, though, it is no big deal, and the product worked well in motels. The electrical cord was, thankfully, long enough to reach from the wall outlet to the bed without need of the extension cord that I packed. For home use, I would recommend the larger size for full lower back coverage.

After 5 days of minimal use, this pad stopped working. Kaz replaced it. After 3 days of use, the pad stopped working again. Kaz replaced it again. After 7 days of use, the pad stopped working a third time, but this time Kaz VOIDED the warranty! Then, they said I should get an electric blanket if I wanted to keep warm. I wonder if they really think an electric blanket and a heating pad are interchangeable for soothing a headache or backache!

This heating pad has a little weight to it, so it feels extra good. The switch is set up so that when you fall asleep, it turns itself off. I have had two of them, ordered one for my sister and now have to order myself another one since my new puppy chewed the cord. I can't wait to get my new one. I fall asleep much better when using it.

My doctor's nurse gave this to me as a gift for waiting so long for my appointment. It's proabably the best gift I've received in years! I LOVE THIS HEATING PAD! It heats so quickly and I can feel the moisture easing the muscle aches from deep within my back. Sure, it's a little annoying to have to keep switching it on when you want it to reheat, but trust me--it's worth it. I accidentally kept it on one time, fell asleep, and to my horror, the switch casing had become misshapen from melting! Yes, it does get VERY hot. (I now need to purchase another one.) It's good for regular use, and the 14 x 27" size is a huge plus as it's able to heat the entire length of my spine as well as my hips--and I'm 5' 10". I will ONLY be buying this product--when you've found the best, you'll NEVER get anything else!
